Technical Characteristics

Product based on natural hydraulic lime, natural pozzolan, selected aggregates and other additives. Cement-free. 

Advantages and Uses

• Mortar for construction and repair of walls and masonry.
• Suitable for use in renovation due to its high compatibility with traditional systems.
• For internal and external application in new-build construction where improved living conditions are required compared with cement-based mortars.
• Highly permeable to water vapour, allowing the substrate to breathe.
• Excellent adhesion and great plasticity.
• Mortar with a low environmental footprint, manufactured using mineral-based materials. Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) available.
   

Suitable Substrates

• Highly porous, highly absorbent, dry, or extremely hot surfaces must be dampened at the time of application.
• For renovation work, the substrates must be properly prepared before application.
   

Application Procedure

• Add water and mix manually or mechanically until a homogeneous, workable consistency is obtained.
• Construct the masonry in accordance with standard masonry practice, ensuring that the joints are properly filled.
• For renovation work, the substrates must be properly prepared before application, removing surface salts and residues from previous work.
• Where necessary, use the mortar to reconstruct damaged sections of ceramic units.
   

Recommendations

• Do not apply the product under 5ºC nor above 30ºC temperature.
• Do not apply under the risk of frost, rain, heavy wind, or direct sun light.
• Under extreme weather conditions (heavy wind or high temperatures) it is necessary to lightly mist the product with water the day after application.
• Adjust the mixing water, avoiding excess water, and allow the required consistency to be achieved through mixing (3–5 min). Do not add water to mortar that has already been mixed.
   

Packaging and Storage

25 Kg of laminated paper sacks.
Store up to 1 year in its original closed container, away from extreme weather conditions and humidity.

Mortar made with aggregates close to production centres reducing greenhouse gas emissions associated with its transport and manufactured in production centres with Environmental Management Systems certified according to ISO 14001, a firm commitment to sustainability and environmental respect.

Mortar with type III eco-label (the most demanding) Environmental Product Declaration externally verified by AENOR.
