Paviland® Sport AC Base

Acrylic resin-based mortar for creating adhesion layers and surface levelling in sports areas, pedestrian zones, or bike lanes. This pavement product is easy to apply and is useful for compensating surface irregularities. Available in a wide range of colours. It is a water-based product (solvent-free) suitable for both indoor and outdoor floors, including sports pavements and parking areas, among others.

Suitable Substrates

  • Concrete with adequate strength, open pore, and slight roughness.
  • Substrates must be resistant enough, stable, sound, and clean. Free of dust, release agents, organic products, etc.
  • Concrete substrates: PAVILAND SPORT EPW PRIMER must be applied beforehand (consult the corresponding technical data sheet for concrete evaluation).
  • Asphalt substrates: They must be resistant, stable, sound, and clean, free of dust, release agents, organic residues, etc. Before application, any voids and/or cracks in the substrate should be properly repaired using products from the PAVILAND ASFALTO range.

Application Procedure

  • This product is ready to use. It should be previously homogenised with a corresponding mixer, at low speed for two minutes approximately.
  • Pour the product onto the substrate and spread it with a rubber rake, starting from one corner and continuing linearly from end to end, paying special attention to specific points (junctions with vertical surfaces, etc.).    

Recommendations

  • Do not apply the product under temperatures of 10º nor above 30º.
  • Do not apply under the risk of frost, rain, heavy wind, or direct sun light.
  • Use gloves and protective goggles when manipulating the product. In case of direct eye contact, clean them with abundant water and soap and visit a specialist.
  • In case of direct skin contact, clean the area with water before it dries.
  • Keep away from children.
  • Any equipment and tools will be cleaned with water immediately after being used.
  • Once the product gets hard, it will only be removed by mechanical means.
  • Do not eat or smoke when manipulating the product.
  • Empty containers should be removed or thrown according to the current legislation.

Packaging and Storage

20 kg constainers.
The product can be stored for up to one year in its original sealed containers, in a dry and well-ventilated area, at temperatures between 10°C and 30°C, and out of direct sunlight and protected from the elements.

Timings are given according to temperatures of 23ºC and 55% relative humidity. Periods of time will be shorter at higher temperatures and longer at lower temperatures.

Environmental Product Declaration (EPD)

Cement based mortar prepared with aggregates that are supplied close to the production center, which reduces the greenhouse gas emissions that would otherwise arise from their transport. Manufactured in production centers with an Environmental management certified system following ISO 14001 regulation, offering a firm promise of sustainability and respect for the environment.
