Additional information

Advantages and Uses

  • High mechanical and chemical resistance.
  • It practically does not turn yellow.
  • Suitable for interior and exterior use.
  • Excellent adhesion.
  • High-coverage resin.
  • Applicable on pedestrian floors indoors and outdoors on cementitious substrates. UV-resistant.
  • Easy to apply ready to use with good spreadability.
  • Fast put into use.

Suitable Substrates

  • Concrete with suitable resistance (25N/mm2 minimum compressive strength and 1,5 N/mm2 resistance to traction) open porous and light roughness.
  • Substrates must be resistant enough, stable, healthy, and clean. Free of dust, release agents, organic products, etc.
  • Before applying any product make sure all holes and / or cracks are previously repaired on the substrate by using products from our PAVILAND or MORCEMREST range.
  • It is also advisable to conduct a milling or sanding process of the substrate with the main objective or opening the porous and remove any possible adhered materials such as greases, paints, etc.
  • Apply the appropriate primer beforehand, according to the chosen construction system and the substrate’s porosity and maximum moisture level.
  • For application on other substrates not covered in this technical data sheet, please consult our technical department.
SUBSTRATE PRIMER WAITING TIME BEFORE SEALING SEALING
Concrete substrate with medium porosity and moisture content up to 8% PAVILAND PRIMER EPW 12 - 24 hours 1 or 2 x PAVILAND POLIPASPÁRTICA
Concrete substrate with medium - low porosity and moisture content up to 4% PAVILAND PRIMER EP (+ 5% ACELERANTE EP) 12 – 24 hours(4 h adding 5% of  ACELERANTE EP) 1 or 2 x PAVILAND POLIPASPÁRTICA
Concrete substrate with high porosity and completely dry. PAVILAND POLIASPÁRTICA + 5% DISOLVENTE PU 40 - 60  minutes 1 or 2 x PAVILAND POLIPASPÁRTICA

Timings are given according to temperatures of 23ºC and 55% relative humidity. Periods of time will be shorter at higher temperatures and longer at lower temperatures

Application Procedure

  • Homogenise component A. Pour component B on top of component A and mix them with a suitable mixer at low speed, until getting a homogeneous product.
  • The pot life of the mixture is short, between 15 and 20 minutes depending on ambient temperature.
  • Apply using a notched or flat metal trowel, rubber rake, or short-pile roller, depending on the desired finish and thickness.
  • Subsequent layers may be added at intervals of 40–60 minutes, depending on temperature, ambient humidity, and thickness.

Recommendations

  • Do not apply below 5º or above 35º, and avoid application in conditions at risk of frost, intense winds, or direct sunlight.
  • Rain-resistant from 2 hours after application.
  • Use gloves and protective goggles when manipulating the product. In case of direct skin or clothes contact, clean the area with abundant water and soap.
  • Keep away from children.
  •  Do not add any water to the mixture.
  • The allowable substrate moisture will depend on the chosen primer, but as a general rule, it should be dry.
  • Any equipment and tools will be cleaned with solvent immediately after being used.
  • Once the product gets hard, it will only be removed by mechanical means.
  • Do not eat or smoke when manipulating the product.
  • Empty containers should be removed or thrown according to the current legislation.
