Technical Caracteristics

Watery acrylic resin with mineral loads.

Advantages and Uses

• Water based product, easy to manipulate, apply and clean.
• Interior / Exterior.
• Concrete swimming pools (even if they have been repaired with reparation cements). 
• Concrete swimming pools waterproofed with Morcem Dry SF Plus.
• Great resistance for swimming pools with chlorine or salt water, according to the manufacturer’s indication on chlorine or salt.
• Do not use in home or drinkable water deposits. 
• Excellent aesthetic aspect: smooth and uniform.

Suitable Substrates

Concrete, cementitious repairing mortars, or Morcem Dry SF Plus waterproofing mortar.

Application Procedure

• Concrete: Wait for 28 days before painting it.
• Morcem Dry SF Plus and Morcem Dry F: must be painted at least 4 days after application, depending on temperature and humidity.
• This product is ready to use. It should be previously homogenised with a corresponding mixer, at low speed until completely mixed. It can also be diluted in water, with a maximum of 5-10% as first hand. Apply a second layer without diluting.
• The application of the product can be conducted using a roller, brush, or airless spray gun.
• After 8 to 12 days, depending on temperature and humidity levels, the pool may be filled up.

Recommendations

• Water tightness in the gap should be previously verified as it is not a waterproofing paint.
• Do not apply the product under temperatures of 10º nor above 30º.
• Do not apply under the risk of frost, rain, heavy wind, or direct sun light.
• Previously clean up any painted substrates to guarantee a suitable adhesion.
• Use gloves and protective goggles when manipulating the product. In case of direct eye contact, clean them with abundant water and soap and visit a specialist.
• In case of direct skin contact, clean the area with water before it dries.
• Keep away from children.
• Any equipment and tools will be cleaned with water immediately after being used.
• Once the product gets hard, it will only be removed by mechanical means.
• Do not eat or smoke when manipulating the product.
• Empty containers should be removed or thrown according to the current legislation.

Limitations of the product

A prolonged exposure to UV rays and high concentration of chlorine, can accelerate the deterioration of the paint and discolouration so a periodic maintenance should be conducted occasionally.
Not cleaning fallen branches and leaves also may accelerate the deterioration of the paint.
 

Packaging and Storage

20K containers - (14.3 L.). 
Store the product in its closed original package, in cool and dry places, away from direct sun light and under 10-30ºC temperature.

Time of application

Timings are given according to temperatures of 23ºC and 55% relative humidity. Periods of time will be shorter at higher temperatures and longer at lower temperatures.
