Technical Caracteristics

Product based on high resistance cement, special additives, pigments and synthetic resins.

Advantages and Uses

  • To be applied indoors and outdoors.
  • High hardness.
  • Intense colour.
  • Easy to clean
  • Very fine texture.
  • Low water absorption.
  • Resistant to cracking and abrasion.

Suitable Substrates

  • Empty joints must be dry and clean in all their length and depth.
  • Grouting must be carried out at least 24 hours after tile setting on walls or 48 hours after tile setting on floors.
  • Before starting the application, temporary porefiller PROTECMOR protects porous and non-porous ceramic from possible pigment stains.

Application Procedure

  • Add water and mix by hand or mechanically until you have an consistent paste (non liquid).
  • Let the mixture stand for 5 minutes and remix.
  • When working in small areas, grout the joints with a rubber trowel or rechargeable grouting gun, pressing on the paste the material firmly.
  • The mixture must be applied diagonally to the joints pressing the mixture onto the joints and removing the excess.
  • Let the material dry slightly for 20-30 minutes. When the mixture becomes dull, you can clean the surface with a hard, slightly wet sponge.
  • Polish the surface by using a clean dry cloth to remove dust only when the product has hardened in the joint.
  • Let dry for at least 24 hours before normal traffic.
  • Use DESMOR to clean up stained tiles. Make sure the product does not damage the tile. Do not use on grouted joints.

Recommendations

  • Do not apply below 5ºC nor above 30ºC.
  • Do not apply when there is a risk of frost, rain, strong wind or direct sunlight.
  • Do not use in expansion joints or joints subject to structural movements.
  • Grout the joints once the floor or cladding is completely dry.
