Advantages and Uses

For use in the following situations:

• Horizontal chases and curved perimeter junctions with vertical surfaces.
• Areas around drains, grilles or other water drainage points.
• Any other area requiring special reinforcement due to substrate conditions.
• Reinforcement at expansion joints, active cracks and isolation joints.
• Reinforcement of all joints and junctions between dissimilar materials with different coefficients of expansion.
• Its properties include excellent compatibility with a wide variety of resins, including polyester resins, ease of handling and bubble suppression, together with good strength properties in the finished product.

NOTE: consult our Technical Department regarding application on other types of substrates or in other situations.
 

Application Procedure

• Apply a first coat of MORCEM ELASTIC PM and, while it is still drying, thoroughly wet out the mesh so that its fibres become embedded in the membrane layer. Use a dry roller to assist with this operation.
• Allow MORCEM ELASTIC PM to dry.
• Apply successive coats of MORCEM ELASTIC PM until the desired thickness is achieved; apply MORCEM ELASTIC PM BARNIZ U.V. in accordance with the specifications to provide protection against UV radiation.
• As the reinforcement is a multidirectional non-woven glass fibre mesh, it must always be embedded in one direction only; otherwise, difficulties may arise during application.
   

Packaging and Storage

Malla FV 100: roll 50 metres long by 1 m wide, weight 100 g/m2.
Malla FV 150: roll 50 metres long by 1 m wide, weight 150 g/m2.
Store in the original packaging (PE film and cardboard box) at a storage temperature between -10ºC and +50ºC and a relative humidity between 35% and 85%.

The values obtained by GRUPO PUMAS's products or its constructive solutions that, as the case may be, are determined by the EN standards or any other regulation that applies to it in each case refers exclusively to the conditions specifically stipulated in said regulation and that are referred to, among others, to certain characteristics of the support, humidity and temperature conditions, etc. without being them required in the tests obtained under different conditions, all in accordance with the relevant regulation.
