Technical Caracteristics

Product based on acrylic resins, polysiloxane in emulsion, mineral pigments, and organic and inorganic additives.

Advantages and Uses

• Self-cleaning. Repels water, making it difficult for dirt to stick to the surface. The absence or inadequate design of horizontal protective elements eliminates the self-cleaning effect. 
• Excellent weather resistance- Hydrophobic.
• Anti-mould and anti-green.

• Texture: medium grain.
• Suitable for most type of substrates.
• Resistant to ageing, city atmospheres, and UV rays.
• Excellent adhesion to typical construction substrates.

• Permeable to water vapour allowing the substrate to breathe.

Product with protection against contamination by fungi, mould and algae that achieves a long-lasting but not permanent preventive and retarding effect. The duration of this affectation depends on the exposure to humidity and the concentration of spores in the area, which create especially favourable conditions for the growth of micro-organisms. Therefore, a periodic preventive maintenance treatment is recommended.
 

Suitable Substrates

• Suitable for mortar, concrete, one-coat mortar, gypsum, drywall, and previously painted surfaces.
• Not compatible with fresh lime plaster, resins or varnishes, distemper paints, lime-based paints, or silicate paints. 
• The Traditerm external thermal insulation system is prepared for the final decorative finish. 
• Substrates must be clean, free of dust, loose particles, remnants of old paints, oils, fungi, mould, and other micro-organisms, etc.
• New cement renders must be fully cured (at least 4 weeks old).
• On surfaces affected by fungi and algae, proceed to their complete removal beforehand.
• Level any possible irregularities with a suitable plaster. Let it dry and sand the area.
• Deteriorated existing paints must be completely removed by brushing the surface, sanding, or stripping.
• On disintegrable surface substrates, apply the FIJAMOR primer beforehand. 
•  Always use a layer of MORCEMCRIL PRIMER before application.
• Apply 3 coats of MORCEMCRIL PRIMER in areas where it remains visible (working joints with masking tape).
   

Application Procedure

• Stir until the mixture is perfectly homogeneous.
• The product is supplied ready to use and can be applied with a trowel or by spray gun.
• When applied by hand, its consistency and workability can be adjusted by adding water, up to a maximum of 250 ml per 25 kg container. In the case of application with a sprayer, water can be added, up to a maximum of 1 litre per 25 kg container.
• This adjustment will depend on the pump being used. Stir well just before application.
• In the case of manual application, spread the product with a steel trowel over the entire surface, removing excess material above the thickness of its aggregates.
• Once the product is spread on the substrate and loses its stickiness on the floats, proceed to trowel the material.
• The floating of the surface will be donde by using a plastic trowel or a polyurethane trowel, preferably with the infinite movement technique to achieve an even textured surface.
• Work in a uniform and uninterrupted manner.
• The choice of tool affects the roughness and structure of the surface, so the same type should always be used on a single project.
• To achieve a uniform structure, it is important that adjoining surfaces are textured by the same person.
• Due to the natural aggregates and granules in the product, slight differences in colour may occur between different batches.
• For adjoining surfaces, product from a single batch should be used.
• For mechanical projection of the product, the nozzle diameter should be chosen based on the product's grain size.
• During projection, special care should be taken to apply the product evenly, avoiding overlaps, seams, and changes in direction due to application.
• Cleaning of the work tools should be done with plenty of water immediately after use, and any dried residues can be removed with a solvent such as turpentine. 
   

Recommendations

• Do not apply at temperatures below 5°C or above 30°C, under direct sunlight, rain or risk of frost.
• Do not apply on horizontal floors or sloped surfaces with an angle of less than 45°.
• Protect the upper part of the render against rain.
• To avoid small color variations, request all the product required in a single order and do not mix different batch numbers in a single area.
• When using a apray gun, keep pressure, angle of projection, and distance from the wall constants, to avoid finish variations.
• Protect the surrounding area thoroughly.
• Clean with water any spillage before drying.

NOTE: When the product covered by this Technical Data Sheet is used as part of a GRUPO PUMA construction system or solution, as it is officially defined as a component thereof, the specific instructions and recommendations contained in the corresponding technical documentation must be followed in all cases, specifically, but not limited to, the Manual relating to the construction system or solution in question.

Packaging and Storage

• 25 kg containers (White and catalogue colours)
• 12 Litre containers (Tintometric system)

Storage: Up to two years in its well-closed original container, in cool, dry places away from open air or direct sunlight, and avoiding exposure to temperatures below 5ºC or above 35ºC.
