Composition

Product based on special cements, selected aggregates, resins and additives.

Features and applications

  • Leveling of irregular pavements indoors.
  • High mechanical resistance and excellent adherence on cementitious and concrete mortars.
  • Manual or pumped application.
  • Very good workability.
  • Smoothing of floors, in pavements of high pedestrian traffic: commercial premises, restaurants, cafeterias, hotels, etc.
  • It admits terminations with ceramic pavements, natural and artificial stone, etc.
  • Ideal as a finishing coat before receiving coatings of very low thickness: carpet, vinyl, pvc, paints, etc.
  • Fast hardening.
  • Very smooth finish and high surface hardness.
  • Suitable for radiant heating.

Substrates

  • Concrete, cementitious screeds, of adequate strength, and similar. For other substrates, please consult with our technical department.
  • The substrates must be resistant, stable, healthy and clean, free of dust, traces of release agents, organic products, etc. release agents, organic products, etc.
  • If necessary, the substrate must be prepared by mechanical means, so that it has a surface free of superficial surface without superficial laitance and of adequate porosity.
  • Prior to the application of NIVELAND 30R, any cracks and/or fissures that may be found in the substrate should be adequately repaired by using the appropriate that could be found in the support using the products of the range Niveland, Paviland or MorcemRest according to the nature of the surface MorcemRest according to the nature of the support and the type of repair to be made.
  • Apply the primer Paviland Primer R to avoid the formation of air bubbles in the coating and to improve its adherence to the support improve its adherence to the support.
  • Before applying the paste, make sure that the residual humidity is below the recommended level (less than 3%).

Instructions for use

By pumping machine:

  • A 2-stage mixing pump should be used, adding water until the required fluidity is achieved.
  • Spread the product with a leveling trowel until the desired thickness is achieved.

By manual mechanical kneading:

  • Knead the product with water (6 to 6.5 liters per 25 kg bag) mechanically, with a low speed mechanical mixer (approx. 500 to 500 liters per 25 kg bag)until a homogeneous, lump-free paste is obtained. The exact dosage of water is very important to avoid segregation of the product, high shrinkage and reduced strength.and decrease of the resistances.
  • Let the dough rest for about 2 minutes and knead again.
  • Pour the kneaded product on the substrate and spread it with a levelling trowel until the desired thickness is achieved the desired thickness.
  • In both cases it is recommended to use a spiked roller, of the appropriate size, in an energetic way,in two directions to eliminate the occluded air.
  • The minimum recommended thickness is 2 mm and the maximum is 30 mm applied in a single coat.
  • Respect structural joints and execute perimeter and partition joints.
  • NIVELAND 30R must be protected as it is not a material suitable to be exposed.

Cautions and recommendations

  • Do not apply below 5ºC and do not apply above 30ºC.
  • Do not apply with risk of frost, strong winds or direct sun.
  • Do not apply outdoors. Do not apply on soils with humidity or with risk of humidity.
  • Use gloves and protective goggles for its use. Keep out of reach of children.
  • Once the product has been kneaded and its resting time has elapsed, do not add additional water.
  • For floors with surfaces of more than 20 m2 or more than 10m linear, it is recommended to make partition joints, delimiting panels, with joints of about 6 mm that can be filled with PUMALASTIC MS or PU.
  • The movement joints of the original substrate should be respected and perimeter joints should be made.
  • The surface layer must be protected from drying too quickly, especially in conditions of high temperature and/or strong wind.
  • Before laying the final screed, the residual moisture content of the screed must be checked and checked to see if it is suitable for the type of screed to be installed.

In radiant heating floors:

  • The drying times of the screed must be respected before laying, at least 48 hours.
  • The heating system should be switched on gradually increasing the temperature at intervals of 2-3 ºC until the operating temperature is reached. This should be done in stages over a period of 48 hours.
  • The heating system should be turned off 48 hours before starting the laying work.
