Additional information

Composition

Highly resistant Portland cement-based product, with selected aggregates, pigments and highly pure additives.

Features and applications

  • Ideal to be used in a wide range of temperatures.
  • Permits washing the floor with a pressure washer from very newly laid, even in cold temperatures.
  • Walking areas in parks and gardens.
  • Good workability.
  • Finishes in public squares.
  • Streets, pavements, outdoor areas, entrances to residential areas, swimming pools by the beach, city walkways with foot and vehicle traffic, etc.
  • High short-, medium-, and long-term mechanical strengths.
  • Outdoor sporting areas.
  • Car parks.
  • High resistance to abrasion.
  • Varied range of textures and colours.
  • Possibility to combine different patterns and tones simply by varying the mould and colour.
  • Unchangeable in every weather condition.

Instructions for use

  • Prepare the substrate with appropriate concrete reinforcement mesh.
  • Protect the areas that must be kept clean.
  • Pour on the concrete and smooth with the trowel. Never shake.
  • Sprinkle PAVILAND IMPRESO SUPER over fresh concrete, colouring it evenly and avoiding product accumulation or areas with little material.
  • Smooth with a telescopic trowel and sprinkle PAVILAND IMPRESO SUPER again in areas that lack material, smooth over with the trowel again.
  • Ensure that the product is well hydrated with the concrete water, without adding extra water because this would considerably reduce the mechanical strengths.
  • Position the printing moulds over the concrete in plastic state previously applying the demoulding agent (PAVILAND DEMOULDING AGENT).
  • Press the moulds evenly so that the pattern on the mould is printed uniformly.
  • After 48 - 72 hours (even in low temperatures), clean the demoulding agent from the flooring with a jet of water.
  • The application of protection and/or curing resins of PAVILAND RESINA range of products is recommended to prevent the superficial layer from drying too quickly thus avoiding the dehydratation of the mortar, especially in conditions of high temperature and/or strong wind.

Cautions and recommendations

  • Do not apply in temperature under 5ºC nor above 30ºC.
  • Do not apply when there is a risk of frost, rain, strong wind or direct sunlight.
  • Use gloves or protective goggles when applying product.
  • It is necessary to use a product from the PAVILAND RESIN range after applying as described in the instructions.  It is advisable to carry out maintenance every two years, as long as the flooring is subjected to light traffic (pump application is recommended).

Packaging

25 kg laminated paper bags.
Shelf life: 1 year in sealed original packaging, sheltered from weather conditions and humidity.
