Paviland® Industrial 15R Autonivelante CT C40 F5 A12 B2

Self-levelling, normal setting flooring mortar, pumpable, for levelling and smoothing interior industrial flooring. This product has high mechanical and substrate bonding strength once hardened. Thicknesses from 5 to 15 mm. For interiors: suitable as a finishing coat or base coat to be covered with fine coverings that provide the floor with greater chemical or physical protection, or for a more aesthetic finish. Self-levelling paving ideal for use in the cold season.

Additional information

Composition

Product based on special cements, selected aggregates, resins and additives.

Features and applications

  • Fast turnaround.
  • Perfect for using in cold periods where the normal drying processes of self-levelling floors need a longer turnaround time.
  • High mechanical strength.
  • Pumpable.
  • Levelling and refurbishment of new and renovated industrial concrete floors.
  • Creation of high abrasion-resistant floors.
  • Refurbishment of indoor car park floors without the need for protective covering.
  • Low shrinkage.
  • Strong mechanical bonding to application base.

Substrates

  • Suitably resistant concrete (minimum compressive strength 25 N/mm2 and tensile strength of 1.5N/mm2 ) open pore and slightly rough finish. For use on other substrates, please consult our technical department.
  • Substrates must be resistant, stable, sound and clean, free of dust, demoulding agents and organic products, etc.
  • Before applying PAVILAND INDUSTRIAL 15 R AUTONIVELANTE first repair any cracks and/or fissures on the substrate with suitable products from our MORCEMREST concrete repair range.
  • Apply primer Paviland Primer R to avoid any air bubbles in the flooring and to improve the adherence to the substrate.
  • Before applying the mortar, ensure that there is no capillary humidity.

Instructions for use

  • Define and mark the maximum height of the sill.
  • The pouring area must be established avoiding areas with different setting times, for which the means available for carrying out the work, the environmental conditions and the open time of the mortar must be considered. Confining pouring areas beforehand can also be used to make partition joints, avoiding them being made later by cutting.
  • Mix the product with water (4.5-5 litres per 25 kg bag) mechanically, with a low speed mechanical mixer (approx. 500 rpm). First mix the whole bag with 2/3 of the recommended quantity of water until a consistent paste has been obtained without any lumps while adding the rest of the water.
  • The quantity of water given in this datasheet is the recommended amount to avoid any shrinkage or separation of product or lowering in mechanical strengths.
  • Leave the mixture to rest for 2 minutes before using.
  • For using on large areas it is advisable to pump the mixture with a double helical pump at 20 to 40 L/minute. This operation increases the maximisation of turnaround times.
  • Spread manually with a metal levelling trowel once the primer has hardened.  Next, pass over with a spiked nylon roller.
  • Respect structural joints and carry out perimeter and portioning joints.
  • It is not necessary to cover PAVILAND INDUSTRIAL 15R AUTONIVELANTE mortar as it comes ready to use as a finishing coat.
  • They may be finished with paints from the PAVILAND PINTURA range or resin coverings from the PAVILAND range. In this case it could eventually be necessary to prepare the surface prior to application to remove any possible remains of grout. The maximum humidity requirements of the covering should also be taken into consideration.

Cautions and recommendations

  • Do not apply in temperature under 5ºC nor above 30ºC.
  • Do not apply when there is a risk of frost, strong wind or direct sun.
  • Not recommended for exterior use.
  • Do not apply on floor with humidity or with a risk of having it.
  • Keep in mind the working time of the product for the planning of the work.
  • Use gloves or protective goggles when applying product. Keep out of the reach of children.
  • Do not add sand, cement or any other product that modifies the original formula.
  • Once the product has been mixed and the resting time has occurred, do not add additional water.
  • For floors larger than 20 m2 or longer than 10 lineal metres, it is advisable to make partitioning joints, delimiting panels with 6 mm joints that can be sealed with PUMALASTIC MS or PU.
  • Movement joints on the original substrate must be respected and perimeter joints made.
  • The application of protection and/or curing resins of PAVILAND RESINA range of products is recommended to prevent the superficial layer from drying too quickly thus avoiding the dehydratation of the mortar, especially in conditions of high temperature and/or strong wind.

Packaging

25 kg laminated paper bags.
