Additional information

Features and applications

  • Adherent for epoxy or polyurethane systems of the PAVILAND family on wet and young substrates.
  • Vapour barrier in basements and places where the presence of humidity persists in the concrete.
  • It can be injected under pressure or by casting at the junction of cracked materials, even with humidity inside the fissures.
  • Primer on wet concrete substrates, mortars and porous substrates in applications subjected to permanent immersion: tanks, fountains, channels, etc.
  • Easy to apply.

Substrates

  • Excellent resistance and light roughness concrete.
  • The maximum residual humidity degree of the substrate must be less than 25% and never waterlogged.
  • Substrates should be resistant, steady, healthy and clean; free of dust, released agents or any other organic products.
  • Prior to the application, the cokes and/or cracks that may be found in the substrate must be properly repaired with the products of our PAVILAND or MORCEMREST range.
  • It is advisable to mill or sand the substrate to open the porous and remove any possible adhered materials such as greases, paints, etc

Instructions for use

  • Homogenise components A and B separately.
  • Add the hardener (Component B) to the epoxy resin (component A) and shake the bar until getting a homogeneous product.
  • Apply the product with the help of a paint brush, roller or airless.
  • The Epoxy coating chosen should be apply before the polymerisation of the primer, being the minimum time for application between 3 and 8 hours (depending on the temperature and humidity of the substrate) and the maximum of 24 hours.
  • In case of using it as an adhesive between new and old concrete, the new one should be poured before the open adhesion time* is over: 3 to 8 hours (depending on the temperature and humidity on the substrate) and a maximum of approximately 24 hours, depending, again, on the temperature and the substrate’s absorption.
  • If the pavement is not going to be placed during the subsequent hours after the primer application, a sprinkling with aggregate must be carried out on it in a fresh state to ensure the correct adhesion.
  • In small thickness crack injection works, 10 – 15% of EP PUMA SOLVENT may be added to reduce viscosity and ensure good wetting.

Cautions and recommendations

  • Do not apply the product under 10ºC.
  • Do not apply the product above 30ºC.
  • Do not apply under the risk of frost, rain, heavy wind or direct sun light.
  • Use gloves and protective goggles when using the product.  Clean with heavy water and soap in case of direct skin contact.
  • Keep away from children.
  • Tools should be cleaned using Grupo Puma solvent immediately after being used. Once the product gets hard, it will only be removed by mechanical means.
  • Do not eat or smoke while using the product.
  • Empty containers should follow the corresponding current legislation.

Packaging

20 (12.5 + 7.5) y 5 (3,1 + 1,9) Kg containers.
It can be stored up to 2 years in its original closed container, in fresh and dry places at temperatures
Between 10ºC and 30ºC away from direct sun light and indoors.
