Technical Caracteristics

Epoxy bi-component resin.

Advantages and Uses

• Adherence for PAVILAND EP systems.
• Easy application.
• It consolidates concrete and mortar pavements.

Suitable Substrates

• Great resistance, high porosity and, suitable roughness. Use PAVILAND PRIMER EP WET in case of having over 4% of humidity in the substrate.
• Substrates must be resistant,stable, healthy, and they must be clean, free from dust or any other kind of substances, organic product, etc. 
• Before applying  the concrete hollow blocks should be repaired as well as the cracks there might be in the substrates using the products from our PAVILAND or MORCEM REST range.
• It is advisable the milling or sanding of the substrate with the objective of opening the porous and let it free from any adhered material: greases, paints, etc.

Application Procedure

• Homogenise components A and B separately.
• Add component B to component A and mix them with a spiral rod, at low speed, until getting a homogeneous product.
• Apply it with brush or roller. 
• The selected epoxy cladding  should be applied before the polymerization of the primer.
• If  the pavement is not going to be  applied just after placing the primer, dust it with sand and gravel while it is fresh in order to ensure a correct adherence.

Recommendations

• Do not apply it under 10ºC so as to avoid resin crystallization.
• Do not apply it over 30ºC.
• Do not apply it under frosting, rain, heavy winds or direct sun weather conditions.
• Due to its viscosity, the product can not be applied with airless.
• Use gloves and safety glasses while working with it. In case of direct skin or clothes contact, clear it with abundant water and soap.
• Keep away from children.
• In case of having humid substrates use PAVILAND PRIMER EP WET.
• The tools will be cleaned with Grupo Puma solvent immediately after using them. Once the product is hard, it can just be cleaned by mechanic means.
• Do not eat or smoke during its handling.
• Empty containers should be removed according to the actual legislation.

(*): Periods refer to a temperature of 23ºC and 55% relative humid. These periods are shorter under higher temperatures and longer under lower temperatures.
