Additional information

Composition

Bi-component epoxy resin.

Features and applications

  • PAVILAND EP systems bonding pimer.
  • Easy to apply.
  • Its use consolidates concrete or mortar pavements.

Substrates

  • Suitable resistance concrete and low roughness. If the substrate contains more than 4% of humidity it is advisable to use PAVILAND PRIMER EP WET.
  • Substrates must be resistant, stable, sound and clean, free of dust, demoulding agents, organic products, etc. Before any application, all imperfections and cracks should be previously repaired using the adequate  product from our PAVILAND or MORCEMREST range.
  • It is advisable to sand the substrate to open  its porous and descale the adhered materials such as greases, paint, etc.

Instructions for use

  • Homogenize components A and B separately.
  • Add the hardening (component B) to the epoxy resin (component A) and mix it with a spiral rod until getting a homogeneous product.
  • Apply it using a paintbrush, roll or airless.
  • The chosen epoxy coating should be applied before the polymerization of the primer.
  • If the placement of the pavement is not going to be possible immediately after the application of the primer,
  • It is recommended to carry out a sprinkle with arid in  fresh state on top of   in order to ensure the correct adherence.

Cautions and recommendations

  • Do not apply under 10ºC due to the possible crystallisation of the resin.
  • Do not apply above 30ºC
  • Do not apply under risk of frost, heavy winds or direct sun light.
  • Use protective goggles and gloves. In case of direct skin or clothes contact use abundant water and soap in order to remove it and avoid damages.
  • Keep away from children.
  • In case of humid substrates it is advisable to use PAVILAND PRIMER EP WET.
  • Trowels and tools should be clean with DISOLVENTE EP PUMA immediately after being used. Once the product is hard, it is possible to clean it by mechanic means.
  • Do not eat or smoke during its manipulation.
  • Packaging should be removed according to the actual legislation.

Packaging

10 (7,5 + 2,5) Kg bags.
Up to 1 year storage in its original closed packaging, in fresh and dry places at 10 to 30ºC temperatures and always away from direct sun light or outdoor areas.
