Suitable Substrates

• Substrates must be resistant enough, stable, sound, and clean. Free of dust, release agents, organic products, etc.
• Direct application on concrete or cementitious substrates, must have the appropriate strength, open pores, and slight roughness. Before applying any product make sure all holes and / or cracks are previously repaired on the substrate by using products from our PAVILAND or MORCEMREST range. It is also advisable to conduct a milling or sanding process of the substrate with the main objective of opening the porous and removing any possible adhered materials such as greases, paints, etc. Residual humidity must not exceed 4%.
• Direct application on asphalt substrates: they must have the appropriate strength, open pores, and slight roughness. Before applying any product make sure all holes and / or cracks are previously repaired on the substrate by using products from our PAVILAND ASFALTO range. It is also advisable to conduct a milling or sanding process of the substrate with the main objective of opening the porous and removing any possible adhered materials such as greases, paints, etc. Residual humidity must not exceed 4%.
• PAVILAND SPORT AC on concrete substrates: PAVILAND SPORT EPW PRIMER must be applied beforehand (check the corresponding technical data sheet for concrete evaluation), which must be hard enough. According to the selected sport system, according to substrate’s roughness. Thickness and required finish, it may be necessary to apply, over the primer, a levelling layer of PAVILAND SPORT AC BASE and/or an intermediate layer of PAVILAND SPORT AC ACABADO
• PAVILAND SPORT AC on concrete substrates: PAVILAND SPORT AC BASE must be applied beforehand (check the corresponding technical data sheet for concrete evaluation), which must be hard enough. Based on the selected sports system and depending on the roughness of the substrate, thickness, and desired finish, it may be necessary to apply an intermediate layer with a finer texture on top of the base levelling layer, using PAVILAND SPORT AC FINISH
   

Application Procedure

• This product is ready to use. It should be previously homogenised with a corresponding mixer, at low speed for two minutes approximately.
• It is recommended to apply a first pass diluted with 5-10% by weight of water on concrete substrates or pavements. Subsequently apply one or two hands of the product.
• This product is generally applied using a roller or rubber trowel.
• Re-paint will be conducted once the previous coat is completely dry: 3-5 hours under normal circumstances.

Recommendations

• Do not apply in temperatures below 10°C
• nor above 30°C.
• Do not apply when there is a risk of frost, rain, strong winds or direct sunlight.
• This product is not suitable for painting swimming pools, ponds, or areas that are in permanent contact with water.
• Do not apply excessively thick coats under any circumstances.
• Wear protective gloves and goggles during the application. In the event of direct contact with the eyes, wash with plenty of soap and water, and seek the advice of your doctor.
• In the event of contact with the skin, wash with water before the product dries.
• Keep out of the reach of children.
• clean all the equipment and tools with water immediately after its use. Once the product has hardened, it will only be possible to clean such equipment and tools mechanically.
• Do not eat or smoke during the handling of the product.
• All empty containers must be discarded in accordance with the current legislation.

Environmental Product Declaration (EPD)

Cement based mortar prepared with aggregates that are supplied close to the production center, which reduces the greenhouse gas emissions that would otherwise arise from their transport. Manufactured in production centers with an Environmental management certified system following ISO 14001 regulation, offering a firm promise of sustainability and respect for the environment.
