Paviland® Top AC

Paint based on acrylic resins in water, micronized fillers and pigments, of a single component, which acts as a decorative, finishing and sealing layer on cementitious and concrete substrates. Surface hardener for cementitious floors that seals and protects the treated surface. Garages, interior floors or exterior parking areas with very low traffic. It has a good resistance to ultraviolet rays, since it does not discolor.

Substrates

  • All base materials must be durable, stable, sound and clean, in addition to being free of dust, form release agents (e.g. paint stripper), organic products, etc. 
  • The concrete or cement mortar base must be suitably durable, with open pores and light roughness. Prior to application, any imperfections and/or cracks that may be present in the base materials should be suitably repaired using our range of PAVILAND or MORCEM REST products. Milling and/or sanding of the base material is recommended in order to open the pores and de-scale bonded materials, such as grease, paint, etc. The residual moisture of the base material must not exceed 4%.

Instructions for use

  • This product is ready to use. It should be previously homogenised with a corresponding mixer, at low speed for two minutes approximately.
  • For less porous substrates, it is recommended to apply a first coat diluted with 10% by weight with water.
  • The second coat, undiluted, is applied within the time-frames indicated in the schedule available at the end of this technical data sheet. Please note that these time frames are approximate and depend on environmental features. Similarly, if a third coat is necessary.
  • For substrates with normal absorption, it would be sufficient to apply two coats of the product.
  • The product is applied using a sprayer or roller.
  • Protect the flooring for at least 48 hours following its application
     

Cautions and recommendations

  • Do not apply the product under temperatures of 10º nor above 30º.
  • Do not apply under the risk of frost, rain, heavy wind or direct sun light.
  • This product must not be used on pools, ponds and, in general, areas with permanent contact with water. 
  • In no case, leave excessively thick coats.
  • Use gloves and protective goggles when manipulating the product. In case of direct eye contact, clean them with abundant water and soap and visit a specialist.
  • In case of direct skin contact, clean the area with water before it dries. Keep away from children.
  • Any equipment and tools will be cleaned with water immediately after being used.
  • Once the product gets hard, it will only be removed by mechanical means.
  • Do not eat or smoke when manipulating the product.
  • Empty containers should be removed or thrown according to the current legislation.

Packaging

Containers of 5 and 20 kg. 
The product can be stored for up to one year in its original sealed containers, in a dry and well-ventilated area, at temperatures between 10°C and 30°C, and out of direct sunlight and protected from the elements.

Yellow ochre, blue, white, grey, red and green.
