Technical Caracteristics

Resistant PVC profile.

Advantages and Uses

• Easy to apply.
• It lays the building’s foundation for the starting of the system and it ensures it’s levelness. Up to 300 mm thicknesses. It allows an extension of 30 to 50 mm, the basic set can include a maximum of 2 pieces for extension of 60 to 100 mm.
• It protects and reinforces the bases of the Traditerm / WalAce sytems (SATE/ETICS).
• It serves as guideline to achieve the alignment of the insulation panels.
• It does not get rusted.
   

Application Procedure

• Place the Perfil de arranque PVC on the wall and level it with a bubble level.
• Mark the points to drill the holes in the dowels without hammering.
• Distance among the dowels should be between 30-50 cm.
• Insert the dowel through the deep and clean pre-drilled hole in the profile.
• Secure the profile.
• Apply the Traditerm / WalAce mortar on the insulation panel and glue it to the substrate placing it on top of the Perfil de arranque PVC pared.
• Apply a Traditerm /WalAce mortar strip of at least 15 mm thick on the front of the panel from the inferior edge.
• Place the extension piece (Traditerm Perfil de arranque PVC extensión) in the front part of the Perfil de arranque PVC cierre oculto, and lodge it between the insulation panel and the Perfil de arranque PVC pared.
• Use the pins of connection to link the starter track profile with hidden closure.
• Remove any possible excess of Traditerm /WalAce mortar.

Recommendations

• Leave a separation distance of 2 to 3 mm between profiles.
• Put a screw every 30 cm distance to attach.
• There must always be an attachment, at a distance of less than 5 cm from the end of the TRADITERM® Perfil de Arranque.
• Select the starter track according to the insulation panel thickness.
• The meeting between the substrate and the TRADITERM® Perfil de Arranque must be sealed with PUMALASTIC MS.

Boxes of 25 units at 50 linear meters.
Profiles must be stored horizontally.
