Implarest® PU
Implarest PU is a two-component semi-elastic cladding of polyurethane free from solvents. It prepares the surface for the application of water repellent claddings of great thickness and great resistance to abrasion.

Advantages and Uses
- It can be used as primer for the elastic cladding Morcemdry PU for water tightness treatments over concrete or mortar substrates, such as dams, canals, tanks or decanters.

Suitable Substrates
Surfaces to be treated should be clean, without grease and dust in order to obtain an adequate adhesion. It is advisable to apply a pressure drip of sand or water (200 atm), which can also be sometimes replace by a mechanic or manual brushing / milling, etc.
Application Procedure
- Stir each component before mixing them to remove grounds.
- Mix completely component B with component A. This will ensure that the volume proportion between component A and component B is correct.
- Stir with an electric mixer at low speed (less than 600 rpm) for 4 to 5 minutes, until getting a homogeneous product.
- The product is generally applied by brush or roller and if used as a primer can be diluted between 5-10% with xylene (depending on the porosity of the support). It can also be projected and for this it is necessary to dilute it between 10-15% with xylene (consult with the technical department).
Recommendations
- Every mixing and application equipment should be cleaned with solvents.
- Tools should be cleaned while the product is still fresh before it polymerizes.

Packaging and Storage
10 kilos kits.
Implarest PU should be stored in it original packaging and in a dry place. Keep it between 5ºC and 30ºC. Once it has been open it should be used as soon as possible, as it considerably reduces its shelf life.
