Technical Caracteristics

Two-component epoxy resin with selected fillers.

Advantages and Uses

• Adhesive for PAVILAND EP systems such as PAVILAND EP DECOR, PAVILAND EP MULTICAPA or PAVILAND EP AUTONIVELANTE.
• Easy to apply.
• Suitable for diverse types of applications. 
• Possibility of high thicknesses with the addition of aggregates.

Suitable Substrates

• Concrete with adequate strength and slight roughness. If the substrate has a moisture content above 4%, the EPOXI-CEM system should be used, or the PAVILAND PRIMER EPW or PRIMER EP BV primers, according to the corresponding technical datasheet, or consult our Technical Department.
• Substrates must be resistant enough, stable, sound, and clean. Free of dust, release agents, organic products, paint, or any other materials.
• Before applying any product make sure all holes and / or cracks are previously repaired on the substrate by using products from our PAVILAND or MORCEMREST range. 
• Mechanically prepare the substrate by shot blasting, milling, or scarifying.

Application Procedure

• Thoroughly mix components A and B separately.
• Add the hardener (component B) to the epoxy resin (component A) and stir with a spiral rod until a homogeneous product is obtained.
• Apply with a brush, roller, or airless.
• The selected epoxy coating must be applied before the polymerization of the primer.
• If it is not possible to install the pavement in the hours following the application of the primer, a sprinkling with aggregate should be done on it while still fresh to ensure proper adhesion.
• To add thickness, add PAVILAND CUARZO 2 aggregate in a resin/aggregate ratio of 1:1 to achieve a self-levelling product, or in a resin/aggregate ratio of 1:8 to 1:10 to achieve a mortar-type product, and homogenize in the same way for about two minutes.

Recommendations

• Do not apply the product under 10ºC due to the potential resin crystallization. Do not apply it above 30ºC.
• Do not apply under the risk of frost, rain, heavy wind, or direct sun light. Do not add water.
• Use gloves and protective goggles when manipulating the product. In case of direct skin or clothes contact, clean the area with abundant water and soap.
• Keep away from children.
• Do not apply on surfaces with moisten above 4%.
• Any equipment and tools will be cleaned with Grupo Puma’s  solvent immediately after being used. Once the product gets hard, it will only be removed by mechanical means.
• Do not eat or smoke when manipulating the product.
• Empty containers should be removed or thrown according to the current legislation.

Packaging and Storage

Containers of 22 (17+5) Kg. y 16 (12.4 + 3.6) Kg.
Store the product up to 1 year in its closed original package, in cool and dry places, away from direct sun light and under 10-30ºC temperature.
