Morcemcril® Fondo

High quality acrylic primer indicated as a coloured wash for MORCEMCRIL. It improves adherence, easyes application homogenises substratc suction, and gives a base coloured covering. Improves covering and adherence of finishing acrylic mortar, while keeping high water vapour permeability. Easy to applicate and excellent adherence to substrate.

Technical Caracteristics

Product based on acrylic resin, mineral pigments and organic and inorganic additives.

Advantages and Uses

  • Good covering.
  • Water proof against rain.
  • Water vapour permeable.
  • Good resistance to substrate alkalinity.
  • Good product homogenisation and easy application.

Suitable Substrates

  • Substrates must be sound, clean, dry, free from dust, grease, without cracks and loose parxts.
  • On low cohesion or very porous substrates, treat before with a layer of FIJAMOR diluted with 2 or 3 parts of water. 

Application Procedure

  • Stir the material until perfect homogenisation.
  • Can be diluted with 5% with water to match the work conditions and substrate to be primed.
  • Tipically a single layer of the product is enough.

APPLICATION TOOLS

  • Application can be done by brush, roller or spray, after adequate dilution.
  • Protect sourounding areas thoroughly.
  • Clean tools with water immediately after use.

Recommendations

  • Do not apply at temperatures below 5ºC or above 30ºC, under direct sunlight, rain or risk of frost.
  • Do not apply with relative humidity greater than 85% or on wet supports.
  • Store in fresh and dry places.

Packaging and Storage

FONDO MORCEMCRIL comes in plastic cans of 25 Kg.
Shelf life: 2 year in sealed original packaging, kept in temperate and dry places, away from direct sun and outdoor conditions. Temperature must be kept between 5ºC and 35ºC.
