Technical Caracteristics

Product based on special cements, selected aggregates and additives.

Advantages and Uses

  • Indoor floor levelling.
  • High mechanic resistance.
  • High resistance to abrasion.
  • Easy to apply.
  • Excellent fineness.
  • Excellent levelling qualities.
  • Up to 3mm thickness.

Suitable Substrates

  • Concrete, mortar flooring and similar elements.
  • Substrates must be resistant, stable, sound and clean, free of dust, demolding agents, organic products, etc.
  • With low-porosity substrates, apply a priming coat (TEXTURE FIX) or improve roughness by mechanical means.
  • Before applying the paste, make sure that residual moisture is below the recommended proportion (less than 3%).
  • Fill voids or holes (two parts NIVELAND and one part sand).

Application Procedure

  • Add water (5.5 to 6 litres per bag) and mix with a low-speed mechanical mixer (500 rpm approx.) until you have an even and fluid paste.
  • Let the mixture stand for 2 minutes and remix.
  • The manipulation time of the paste is 20 minutes, depending on the weather conditions.
  • Pour the mixed product on the base to be set and spread with a levelling trowel.
  • Recommended maximum thickness is 2-3 mm.

NOTE: For greater thickness, mix two parts of NIVELAND with 1 part of  0 to 4 mm silica sand. Mix with 5% less water. The resulting mortar will partially lose its self-levelling capacity. Finish with a layer of at least 3mm pure levelling product.

Recommendations

  • Do not apply below 5ºC nor above 30ºC.
  • Do not apply when there is a risk of frost, rain, strong wind or direct sunlight.
  • Do not apply on humid floors or when there is a risk of humidity.
  • Do not add water once it starts to harden.
  • Do not apply outdoors.
  • On surface areas greater than 20 m², it is advisable to make partition joints (of 6mm minimum), filling them with an elastic material, such as PUMALASTIC PU.
  • On surface areas greater than 12 m², it is advisable to do perimeter joints, filling them with an elastic material.
