Technical Caracteristics

Mixture of solvents and  silane/siloxane organic products.

Advantages and Uses

  • Great water-repellent properties.
  • Great barrier against capillary water absorption without creating any kind of layer on the substrate.
  • It does not block the pores.
  • Great permeability against water vapour.
  • It prevents the substrate from damaging effects caused by humidity, avoiding them or reducing and delaying, at least, their appearance.
  • High resistance to alkalis.
  • Great penetration capacity.
  • With condensation catalyst in order to get its maximum efficiency faster.
  • Good resistance against ultraviolet rays.
  • It does not produce any shine nor yellowish colour in the surface.
  • It reduces the parameter's dirtying, and the proliferation of algae.
  • Ideal for renovation works of natural stones.

Suitable Substrates

It should be applied on mineral-based construction substrates such as:
  • Brickwork or lime-sand blocks.
  • Porous limestone.
  • Concretes, specially porous ones, and mineral plaster.
  • Fibre-cement sheets.
  • Mineral base natural and artificial stones.
  • Granite, mineral whitewash, etc.
  • It is not suitable for damp-proofing of gypsum.

Application Procedure

  • Apply by means of a sprinkler or using an irrigation system,  saturating the treated surface.
  • It should be applied two or three times in a row, it is not necessary to wait for the coat to dry between one application and the other.
  • The substrate should be slightly wet, however you cannot apply the product in case of having superficial humidity stains or if you think the substrate might be soaked.
  • Do not apply it under extreme weather conditions, since it will reduce the penetration efficiency of the product.
  • Avoid its application on arid or hot substrates, as the penetration of the product will be reduced and therefore its reaction, decreasing its effectiveness.

Recommendations

  • Avoid as much as possible air contact (the container should always remain closed)
  • The product will always be kept at inferior temperatures to 30ºC and away from direct sun exposition.
  • Do not dilute the product with solvents.
  • Do not apply it with temperatures under 5ºC nor superior to 30ºC
  • Do not apply it under relative humidities superior to 85% nor on top of wet substrates.
  • Keep it in cool and dry places.

Consumption according to dimensions (kg/m²)

(The efficiently will depend on the application conditions as well as the compaction and the power of suction of each parameter)
