Product made with i.pro CALIX NHL 3.5 de FYM-Heidelbergcement Group, selected aggregates and other additives.

Advantages and Uses

• Highly permeable interior and exterior coating.
• Highly compatible with traditional systems and so suitable for renovation use.
• Application on newly built interiors and exteriors for enhanced habitability conditions compared with cement-based mortars.
• Permeable to water vapour, allowing the substrate to breathe.
• Excellent adherence.
• Great plasticity.
• Smooth or sponge floated finish.
• Contains no cement.
• Apply by hand or with a pump.
• Plaster and stucco works.

Suitable Substrates

• On surfaces substrates previously treated with MORCEMCAL BASE.
• The surface should be moistened thoroughly, waiting for the film of water to disappear before applying. 
• Do not apply on clay or on paint.

Application Procedure

• To knead the material, add water and mix mechanically until it takes on an even and workable consistency 
• Spread the product with an average thickness of 0.5 cm, not exceeding 0.8 cm for the same layer.
• Cure the material applied for 24 hours after applying, humidifying it and protecting it from the sun.

To assure ensure good compatibility between the surface substrate and the coatings, take the following steps:

• Wet the surfaces thoroughly at least 24 hours before applying, 
• Cure the material applied for 24 hours after applying. 
• Before finishing coatings with MORCEMCAL ACABADO, wait 24–48 hours per centimetre of mortar base coat.

Recommendations

• Do not apply at temperatures below 5ºC nor above 30ºC.
• Do not apply when there is a risk of frost, rain, strong wind or direct sunlight.
• In extreme weather conditions (strong winds or high temperatures) it is necessary to water the product with light sprinklers the day after applying it.
• The natural origin of the raw materials used in the Morcem Cal mortars, may cause slight changes in color between different production batches.

Packaging and Storage

25 kg plastic paper bags.
Shelf life: 1 year in sealed original packaging, sheltered from weather conditions and humidity.

Environmental Product Declaration (EPD)

Cement based mortar prepared with aggregates that are supplied close to the production center, which reduces the greenhouse gas emissions that would otherwise arise from their transport. Manufactured in production centers with an Environmental management certified system following ISO 14001 regulation, offering a firm promise of sustainability and respect for the environment.
Cement based mortar with type III ecological label (the most strict) Environmental Product Declaration verified externally by AENOR.
