Application Procedure

BASE COAT OF CRUSHED BLACK RUBBER

  • Cement base or stable support.
  • Preparation: The support must be clean and stable.
  • Primer: It is necessary to apply a primer band TEXTUREFIX-120 or RESINA AGLUTINANTE AROMATICA along the perimeter of the Park and on the legs of the games.
  • In a mixer or a bucket, mix (preferably mechanical mixer) black rubber with 9% of RESINA AGLUTINANTE AROMATICA, until it is completely impregnated with resin.
  • Demarcate the area with the required height. In case of pavements for playgrounds, the thickness of the coat will be depending on the height of the games, and must comply with regulations EN1177.
  • Apply the product with a trowel of steel or similar, compacting it up to equalizing it at a height of the ruler.
  • Let´s dry 6 hours

FINISH COAT WITH CRUSHED ENCAPSULATED RUBBER

  • To demarcate and create the different decorative zones, it is recommended to use a semiflexible naked cable of copper, to delimit the colors during the application. The cable will have to be fixed to the rubber base with a few metallic hooks.
  • Mix the encapsulated rubber (colored) with 12% of RESINA AGLUTINANTE AROMATICA or  RESINA AGLUTINANTE ALIFATICA.
  • Apply the product and compact it with the same steel trowel until the height of the cable (1 cm).
  • Once applied the whole surface, it is recommended to finish the compaction with a gardening roller After 6 hours, it will be possible to pass along the pavement.
