Traditerm® Malla

TRADITERM® MALLA consists of double weave threads, essential for reinforcing the TRADITERM® panels. Recommended in the application of TRADITERM® exterior thermal insulation systems. Giving the system greater resistance and stability, and preventing the appearance of cracks caused by temperature differences or movement of the insulation panels. Excellent traction resistance and improves impact resistance.

Technical Caracteristics

TRADITERM® MALLA is made of fiberglass threads, which are wrapped in a resin, which protects them from the attack of cement mortar alkalis.

Advantages and Uses

  • Easy to apply.
  • Fire resistant.
  • Crack resistant.
  • Excellent traction resistance.
  • Good flexibility.
  • Improves shock resistance.

Application Procedure

  • Apply like a sandwich. To do so:
  • Apply a first layer of TRADITERM® mortar onto the support.Place the mesh so that it is slightly embedded.
  • Apply a second layer of TRADITERM® mortar to completely cover the mesh.

Recommendations

  • In areas exposed to impact, reinforce the panels by using a double TRADITERM® MALLA, or with a first cap of TRADITERM® MALLA DE REFUERZO and a second cap of TRADITERM® MALLA
  • The encounters between meshes must be overlapped a minimum of 10cm.
  • Singular points such as vertices of facade openings must be reinforced with TRADITERM® MALLA a minimum of 24 hours after fixing the panels.
  • Handling this product does not require special care, although, it can cause irritation to very sensitive skin. If this should happen, wash with sufficient cold water and soap.

Packaging and Storage

1,10 m x 50 m rolls .Shelf life: Store vertically in a dry place protected from exposure to the sun.
