Traditerm® Perfil arranque aluminio

Starter and protection profile used in the TRADITERM® System. It protect and reinforce the base. Used as a guide for the aligning the insulation panels. It does not rust and its easy to apply. It has a range of thicknesses to choose depending on the thickness of the insulation panel used.

Technical Caracteristics

Aluminum profile.

Advantages and Uses

  • Easy to apply.
  • Marks the start of the TRADITERM® System.
  • Protects and reinforces the base of the TRADITERM® System.
  • Serves as a guide for aligning the insulation panels.
  • Range of thicknesses to choose depending on the thickness of the insulation panel used

Application Procedure

  • On the support, draw a level line, on which the TRADITERM® PERFIL DE ARRANQUE will be screwed. The minimum distance between the starter profile and the ground must be ≥ 15 cm.
  • The logs that fix the starter profile to the support are placed 30cm apart from each other. The first screw should be placed at a distance of less than 5 cm from the edge of the profile.
  • If the surface (on which the starter profile is screwed) is uneven, use profile spacers behind the starter profile, at the points where it is screwed, in order to level the starter profile surface.
  • When starting profiles meet, there should always be a separation distance of 2 to 3 mm. This separation can be achieved by using starter profile connectors.

Recommendations

  • At joins between profiles, leave a separation distance of 2 to 3 mm.
  • To fasten the profile, apply a screw every 30 cm.
  • The fastening should always be at a distance of less than 5 cm from the edge of the profile.
  • The thickness of the starter profile is the same as the thickness of the insulating panel.
  • The meeting of the support with the TRADITERM® PERFIL DE ARRANQUE must be sealed by
    PUMALASTIC MS.

Packaging and Storage

Batches of 10 units at 25 linear meters.
The profiles have to be stored horizontally.
