Technical Caracteristics

aluminium profile.

Advantages and Uses

  • Easy to apply.
  • Protects and reinforces the sides of Traditerm Systems (SATE/ETIC).
  • It does not get rusted.
  • Range of thickness to choose from according to the insulation panel used.

Application Procedure

For its correct installation fix the profile to the substrate using screws for exterior areas, taking into account that:

  • The profile should be placed before applying the last superior insulating panels.
  • The screws used in order to fix the coronation profile to the substrate should be placed with a minimum separation of 30 cm between them. The first screw should be placed with an inferior distance to 5 cm from the profile's border.
  • Between a  coronation profile and another,, leave 2 to 3 mm distance that should also be sealed using Pumalastic MS.

Recommendations

  • The superior area where the profile meets the substrate where it has been fixed to, should always be protected (by the eaves of the façade itself, by other profile...)
  • Choose the correct closing profile according to the thickness of the insulating panel.
  • Seal with Plumalastic MS the areas where the coronation profile and the finish layer of the system meets, the encounters between the side closing profiles and the starting profiles and the encounters among other elements in the façade (substrate...)

Packaging and Storage

10 units box->25 lineal meters.
The profiles should be stocked up in horizontal position.
