WalAce® Fixing Anchor

WalAce® Anchors are made up of polyethylene material and are used to fix the WalAce® insulation panels to the substrate. It comes in various lengths are per the Insulation thickness of WalAce® system. Also they have European approval according to ETA-16/0509.

Features and applications

Instructions for use

  • After 24 hours from the fixing of the insulation boards to the facade with WALACE adhesive, using a drill, make a hole in the support, passing through the insulating panel.
  • The depth of the hole in the bracket must be 60 mm.
  • Place the WALACE FIXING ANCHOR in the hole made.
  • With the help of a mallet, hit the anchor so that it penetrates until it cuts the surface by 1-2 mm of the insulation board.
  • Subsequently, the recess produced on the surface of the insulating panel is regularized with the mortar WALACE®

Cautions and recommendations

  • The plug must be inserted at least 50 mm into the holder.
  • The plug must cut the insulation panel by 1-2 mm. If the plug is not inserted into the insulation, the insulation will marked on the final finish.
  • Hammering into studs with nails already installed is not recommended as it may cause damage to the plate.
  • The hole in solid materials should be cleaned of any debris prior to installation.
  • Check that the blocks are securely fixed.
  • Depending on the thickness of the insulation panel, the following thicknesses of WalAce FIXING ANCHOR are recommended:

 Store the anchors in a dry place and avoid direct exposure to the uv rays. Shelf life of these anchors is : 5 years.
