Traditerm® Taco de Anclaje
Anchor used to fasten insulation panels in the TRADITERM® System. Traditerm® Anchor is made of polyethylene and consists of two elements differentiated (nail and sheath). It is a percussion anchorage plug, used to fix the panels insulation in the TRADITERM Exterior Thermal Insulation System. It is easy to apply. It ensures a perfect fixing of the plates to the support. Resistant to oxidation. Wide range of product sizes for correct adaptation to thermal insulation systems depending on the thickness of the plate. European approval according to ETA-16/0509.

The anchor is formed of two elements:
- Nail: fiberglass reinforced polyamide
- Sheath: polyethylene

Instructions for use
- After 24 hours from the fixing of the insulation boards to the facade with TRADITERM adhesive, using a drill, make a hole in the support, passing through the insulating panel. The depth of the hole in the bracket must be 60 mm.
- Place the TRADITERM® TACO DE ANCLAJE in the hole made.
- With the help of a mallet, hit the anchor so that it penetrates until it cuts the surface by 1-2 mm of the insulation board.
- Subsequently, the recess produced on the surface of the insulating panel is regularized with the mortar TRADITERM®.
Cautions and recommendations
- The plug must be inserted at least 50 mm into the holder.
- The plug must cut the insulation panel by 1-2 mm. If the plug is not inserted into the insulation, the insulation will marked on the final finish.
- Check that the blocks are securely fixed.
- Hammering into studs with nails already installed is not recommended as it may cause damage to the plate.
- The hole in solid materials should be cleaned of any debris prior to installation.
