Additional information

Composition

Dry mortar based on cement, additives, aggregates, and dry, sieved and selected  cork granulates which considerably lighten the product, without mixing it with other components.

Features and applications

  • Suitable for machine projection.
  • Fast put into service.
  • Up to 5 cm thickness in just one application.
  • Low density that makes it ideal for existing floor slabs restoration.
  • Easy levelling by simple regulation.
  • It can also be applied with reinforcing lath.
  • It provides additional impact sound isolation.

Substrates

  • Substrates should be resistant, stable, sound and clean; free from dust, or any other released agents.
  • The area should be stable, hard and consistent.
  • In case of very absorbent substrates, excessive heat or heavy winds, it is advisable to moisten the substrate and wait until the water disappears.
  • For adhered screeds (thickness less than 50 mm) on resistant concrete supports, PAVILAND PRIMER R must be previously applied.

Instructions for use

MECHANICAL APPLICATION

  • According to the chosen machine (section and length of the hose) and outdoors climate conditions, stablish the optimum water/ MORTAR condition.
  • It is very important to maintain the variables constantly that may affect the features of the applied mortar (wall distance, application angle and water proportion).
  • Layers should not exceed 5cm thickness, letting it harden  if it is going to be applied in several layers.
  • Smooth and correct the imperfections with a trowel or a similar tool.
  • Add water and mix it manually or mechanically until getting a homogeneous and workable consistence.
  • Let the mixture rest for 5 minutes and mix again.

HAND APPLICATION

  • Add water (5,0 A 5,5 L for bag) and mix it manually or mechanically until getting a homogeneous and workable consistence.
  • Let the mixture rest for 5 minutes and mix again.
  • Layers should not exceed 5cm thickness, letting it harden  if it is going to be applied in several layers.
  • Smooth and correct the imperfections with a trowel or a similar tool.

Cautions and recommendations

  • Do not apply it under 5ºC or above 30ºC.
  • Do not apply it under risk of frost, rains, heavy winds and direct sun light.
  • Previously repair the damage areas of the substrate.
  • Moisten absorbent substrates and wait until the water layer  disappears
  • before the application. In non absorbent substrates, it is necessary to apply a previous primer.
  • It is also advisable to water the applied product immediately after its hardening, specially under extreme weather conditions, high temperatures and heavy winds.
  • Do not mix it with other products or loads.
  • Advised thickness: between 5 and 50 mm.
  • Advised minimum thickness on waterproof or anti impact sheets: 50 mm

Packaging

25 Kg laminated paper bags. 1 year storage in its original packaging, indoors and away from humidity.
