Tradisol® C1

Powdered tile adhesive made of mixed bonding agents, for indoor and outdoor floor tiling jobs on traditional fresh mortar. Suitable for setting marble, terrazzo and all types of ceramic tiles.

Additional information

Composition

Product based on high resistance cement, selected aggregates, additives and synthetic resins which give excellent bonding and resistance to ageing.

Substrates

  • In case of greater thickness should be used:
    • On floors: Depending on the particular need use 10R NIVELAND 10 R or PAVILAND RECRECIDO AUTONIVELANTE.
    • On walls: mortars with adequate tensile strength with drying shrinkage already completed.

Instructions for use

APPLIED IN POWDER FORM

  • Apply the levelling coat with M-7,5 mortar type.
  • Check flatness.
  • Dust TRADISOL evenly on fresh mortar until obtaining 2mm tickness.
  • Completely wet the powder by lightly watering.
  • Spread with a trowel to an even layer

APPLIED IN LIQUID FORM

  • Apply the levelling coat with M-7,5 mortar type. Check flatness.
  • Add water and mix until it has an even and workable consistency (10 litres per bag approximately).
  • Let the mixture stand for some minutes.
  • When the mortar is still fresh, spread the mixed product in a thin coat. Spread with a notched trowel to adjust thickness.

FINISHING

  • Lay the tiles, by hammering and moving them, to obtain perfect contact with the adhesive product.
  • Observe construction joints (expansion, contraction, fraction, perimeter corner joints) and the joints between the cement slabs  (minimum of 2 mm inside and 5 mm outside).
  • Use the appropriate mortar from the MORCEMCOLOR range depending on the type of joint.

Cautions and recommendations

  • Do not apply below 5ºC nor above 30ºC.
  • Do not apply when there is a risk of frost, rain, strong wind or direct sunlight.
  • Do not apply in areas where water may accumulate.
  • Tiled areas of walls and floors above 50 m² indoor and 30 m² outdoor or elongated more than 15 linear m it is recommended to divide them with joints filled with a deformable grout among PUMALASTIC range.
  • In case of Indoor floor tiled areas it is recommended to leave a free perimeter joint between the tiles and the wall or pillar of about 5 mm hidden by the plinth. These joints must be filled with a deformable grout among PUMALASTIC range.
  • In order to achieve a perfect setting of the material, avoid stepping on the tiles for 3 or 4 days after its application.
  • In outdoor floorings, substrates should have an inclination equal or superior to 1%.
  • In case of tiles reinforced with fiberglass mesh on their back, ask the technical department.
  • Do not use the technique known as by globs.
  • Working and setting times of the adhesive depend on the temperature, air streams, and the absorption of tiles and substrates.
  • Formats less than 900 cm², perform glueing by SPRAYING.
  • Formats larger than 900 cm², glue with BARBOTINE.

Packaging

Shelf life: 1 year in sealed original packaging, sheltered from weather conditions and humidity.

Environmental Product Declaration (EPD)

Cement based mortar prepared with aggregates that are supplied close to the production center, which reduces the greenhouse gas emissions that would otherwise arise from their transport. Manufactured in production centers with an Environmental management certified system following ISO 14001 regulation, offering a firm promise of sustainability and respect for the environment.
