MORCEMDRY PU UV Varnish is a bi-component aliphatic polyurethane elastic render with solvent.
It provides UV resistant, elastic, protective films with high resistance to industrial, polluting atmospheres

Features and applications

  •  It is formulated to be applied in the following fields:
  • As a final coat in exterior sealing treatments using polyurethane resins on concrete or mortar substrates, such as dams, channels, tanks, decanters, etc.
  • As metallic elements coatings, on pipes, structures, etc.
  • For sealing and protection of sealants in expansion joints, construction, etc.
  • Coating of floors and walls of chambers, laboratories, rooms, etc. Subjected to radiation for asepsis.

Substrates

The surface must be clean, free of dust, greases and loose particles. It is advised to carry out a drip with sand or pressurized water (200 atm), which can sometimes be substituted by a mechanical or manual brushing, etc.
It must be applied on top of Morcemdry PU system

Instructions for use

  • Before mixing components A and B, shake component A by mechanic means at very low speed. (< 600 rpm).
  • Immediately after pour component B on top of component A and keep moving the mixture for 3-4 minutes more until getting a homogeneous mixture. The ratio of the mixture is A / B = 81 / 19
  • This product is generally applied using a roller or paint brush, it may also be applied by spraying.
     

Cautions and recommendations

  • Cleaning of the tools will be carried out with solvents immediately after being used.
  • Consult with the Technical Department for any application not specified in this Technical Data Sheet.

The Morcemdry PU UV Varnish is supplied in batches of two components (A+B):

Component A: 12 kg container.

Component B: 3 kg container
