Morcemcril^® Flexible

Ready to use synthetic-mineral render with elastic properties. Suitable for waterproofing and decorating façades and indoor walls. It has highly hydrophobic surface to avoid any absorption of humidity and reduces dirt pick-up. Decorative finish for the external thermol insulation system TRADITERM®. (ETICS). Formulated with additives that prevent and delay the apparition of algae and molds.

Composition

Product based on acrylic resin with internal and UV reticulation, mineral aggregates, pigments, and organic and inorganic additives.

Product with protection from fungal, mould and algae contamination that achieves a preventive and retardant effect lasting but not permanent. The duration of this affection depends on the exposure to humidity and the concentration of spores in the area, which make the conditions especially favorable for the growth of microorganisms, therefore periodic preventive maintenance treatment is recommended.

Substrates

Compatible with mortars, concrete, one coat mortars, plaster, plasterboard and old painted surfaces.
Not compatible with fresh lime renderings, resins or varnish, distempered, lime or silicate paints.
Substrates must be sound clean, free from dust, loose particles, old paints, oils, etc.

Instructions for use

Stir until material is homogeneous.
The product is ready to use with trowel or spray gun.
When trowel applicated workability can be adjusted by adding water (up to 250 ml per 20 kg buckets). For spray gun, up to 1 litre per 20 kg buckets may be added. Depending on the pump used. Mix carefully just before using.
Apply with a steel trowel and when the surface is no longer sticky floot with the trowel.
Clean tools with water immediately after use. Remove dry remains with paint thinner
Texture: Medium.
On supports that can be broken up on the surface, previously apply the primer FIJAMOR.
Always use a coat of FONDO MORCEMCRIL before applying it.

Cautions and recommendations

Do not apply in temperatures below 5°C, or above 30°C, under direct sun, rain, or if risk of frost.
Do not apply to horizontal (floors) or sloped less than 45´ surfaces.
Protect the upper parts of the render against rain.
To avoid small colour variations order all the necessary product in a single order and do not mix different batch numbers in a single area.
When using a spray gun, keep pressure, angle and wall constants to avoid finish variations thoroughly.
Protect the surrounding area thoroughly. Clean with water any spillage before driying.

Packaging

MORCEMCRIL FLEXIBLE is sold in 20 kg plastic buckets. Product supplied only to order. Shelf life 2 years in original, sealed packaging, stored in a fres and dry place. Avoid exposure to direct sun, frost and temperatures lower than 5ºC o or higher than 35ºC.
