Pumacril® Revestimiento Silicona
Synthetic mineral matt coating for waterproofing, damp-proofing, and decoration of all kind of façades, interior walls, and roofs, always keeping its transpiration. Based on acrylic copolymers and silicone resins. Its water-repellent properties prevent the temporary absorption of moisture and reduce the fouling by this reason. Silicone resins are a mineral-type coating and are therefore permeable to water vapour. The combination of high impermeability and high breathability makes silicone resin paint the highest quality product for covering façades, which is the reason for its extraordinary durability and dirt repellent capacity.

This product has a protection against fungus, mould and algae which provides a long-lasting preventive and retardant effect although not permanent. The duration of this effect depends on the exposure to humidity and the concentration of spores in the area, which create especially favourable conditions for the growth of micro-organisms. A periodic preventive maintenance treatment is recommended.
Application Procedure
- Mix until perfect homogenisation.
- Apply a first layer with the product diluted with 10-15% of water as primer.
- Dilute the second end next layers up to 5-10% with water.
NEW CONSTRUCTIONS:
- Remove any possible dust, grease, and any other contaminants.
- Apply a FIJAMOR layer diluted with 2-3 parts of water, to fix and equalise the absorption of the substrate.
- Apply the paint according to the instructions given.
OLD CONSTRUCTIONS:
- Removes any mould contamination as well as any remaining paint or other construction materials.
- Level any irregularities with a suitable amount of paste. Let it dry and sand it.
- Apply a FIJAMOR layer diluted with 2-3 parts of water, to fix and equalise the absorption of the substrate.
- Apply the paint according to the instructions given.
APPLICATION TOOLS
- Application may be conducted by brush, roller, or spray gun, after prior stirring of the product and dilution.
- Tools must be cleaned with abundant water before the paint dries.
Recommendations
- Do not apply under 5ºC.
- Do not apply the product with relative humidity above the 85% nor on wet substrates.
- Storage: Up to two years in its original closed packaging. In fresh and dry places, away from open air and direct sun light. Avoid exposure to extreme weather conditions (not lower to 5ºC nor above 35ºC)
